Tribal
Tribal rugs are woven by Qashghai nomads of the Fars region in the Southwest of Iran and by the Balouchi and Kurdi people in small villages in the Central East of Iran. Tribal rugs tend to be coarsely woven, usually with an all wool pile and wool foundation with geometric patterns.
Gabbeh rugs incorporate stick figures of sheep, goats and people. They usually use bright jewel tone color or simply the natural wool color.
