Bidjar
Bidjar is a small town located in Northwest Iran. Bidjar carpets
are heavy because of their compact and dense weave.
The design is often symmetrical
with a decorative motif in the field. Colors are often Cranberry
Red, Sky Blue, Dark Blue, and Ivory. Bidjar rugs
are woven with a wool pile, silk highlights and a cotton
foundation.
